Create a perfect portrait with your pet companion!

We appreciate how important it is not only to capture the outer physical characteristics of your pet, but also the spirit within. Our joy is in attempting to bring out the unique personality and expressive characteristics of each animal photographed: the lopsided grin, the rolling eye, the crooked ear. The tiny touches which capture the animal family members in their most relaxed, happy & “totally themselves” state; having the time of their lives.

A tip or two:
Best lighting is achieved outside in natural light. Having your pet close to a large window, with plenty of natural light coming from behind or slightly to the side of you as you face your pet, is the next best option.
Camera flash is not advisable as most pets would be startled by it. A bright but overcast day is perfect.

Keep your pet as comfortable and at ease as possible. Cameras can be distracting for some animals, so if you cannot get your pet to behave normally, try having someone else present to divert their attention and keep them engaged.
A good idea is to have favourite treats or toys at hand. Hold them up near the camera to catch (and hopefully hold) interest in the right direction. Most importantly, don’t be afraid to be silly. Try making funny and unusual noises or movements to get their attention.

Carcosa Seri Negara Bridal Fair.  

On display: These wedding cakes were among the items on display at the fair.

The fair was aimed at promoting Carcosa Seri Negara as a potential venue for couples intending to tie the knot. 

“Being a heritage building, the hotel presents an exclusive location, luxurious ambience and a distinctive setting for such a memorable event,” said general manager Carla Petzold-Beck.  

The photography aspect of the wedding was represented by ex-hibitors like Signature Photogra-phers, Covershots and The Wedding Shop, Manggis, Davelab Motion, and KidChan Studio.  

Wedding planners were represented by Tres Beau Momento, I Do Weddings, and Events Wizard. 

Couples looking for floral arrangement were awed by One Red Lily, Garden Fairies, and Floral Etc while de-Catano, Margaret Mccallum Weddings and That Special Occas-sion presented an array of wedding gowns and suits.  

Other services, including cards, gifts and chocolate decor, were represented by Sunflower, Wicked Wax, Beauty Haven, Just Heavenly, Chocolate Chapters, Pernod Ricard, The WeddingCard Shop, Eleena Lamat and Avicenna Studio. High fashion jewellers Mouawad also participated in the fair with their exquisite and creative pieces of jewellery. 

Also present at the exhibition were the representatives of The Saujana, The Datai and The An-daman that are sister properties of Carcosa Seri Negara under GHM Hotels and Resorts.  

The wedding dinner: An interesting table display for wedding dinners by The Saujana.

Visitors to the fair were also invited to participate in lucky draws throughout the day that offered attractive prizes from different exhibitors.  

Among of the prizes that were up for grabs were a Carcosa Seri Negara honeymoon package worth RM2,450, photography package by Covershots worth RM5,000, spe-cially designed wedding gown and veil worth RM2,000 from the Wedding Shop, bridal make-up and hairstyling by Beauty Haven, a three-tier wedding cake from Just Heavenly, bottles of wine from Pernod Ricard, and 300 pieces of chocolate treats from Chocolate Chapters. 

Dream-like: The wedding setting at the Audience Suite decorated by Razak Ahmad.

The main exhibition was held at The Marquee while other areas like the Audience Suite were used to display settings and decor by Razak Ahmad of Florals Etc.  

The prolific Razak specialises in exclusive flower arrangements and decorations and was involved in designing for the weddings of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston and Drew Barrymore and Tom Green.

Bridal car: This Jaguar is available for rental for weddings at affordable rates.
